Story in 60 Seconds
The short version
Eight months after Tony Stark's death, Peter joins classmates on a European trip and hopes to tell MJ how he feels. Nick Fury recruits him to help Quentin Beck, who claims that Elementals destroyed his world. Peter inherits Stark's EDITH glasses but feels unready for their power, so he gives them to Beck after they apparently defeat the final Elemental. MJ shows Peter debris from a battle, revealing that the monsters are holograms. Beck is a former Stark employee leading a team that uses drones and illusions to manufacture Mysterio's heroism.

Beck traps Peter in illusions and arranges a final drone attack in London, but Peter relies on his danger sense to reach him and regain control of EDITH.
